Leadership Opportunity
PROGRAM
INFO
This is an opportunity for participants to learn important skills mixed in with fun events and opportunities to create a positive experience.
The CITs will have a 1:1 mentor from the Kalexedy staff. Mentors will teach the CITs important aspects of team building, work ethic, policies and procedures, safety, and leadership all while promoting important experience through increasing responsibility over the summer.
Each CIT will be evaluated by the staff and will come to know their strengths as well as areas that they can improve upon to better prepare them to become responsible caring workers in any endeavor.

Our program is limited to 12 teens, each attending 2-3 weeks of the summer sessions.
PROFILE
Our CIT program is for 15, 16 and 17 year old teens.
CIT’s feel they are too old to be a camper but are not yet old enough or experienced enough to be a counselor.
This is an apprenticeship program where CIT’s learn by doing. CIT’s work directly with the pod Lead and attendees of the summer sessions. Ages of enrolled attendees varies by session, but generally include children in 3rd through 9th grade.
