Developing Personalized Learning Tools is so much fun. The possibilities are endless and the kids really get to stretch into so many non-traditional areas. Our enrichments also do this. That means we are always on the lookout for new options and new opportunities.
There are lots of places where you can get lists of online curriculum providers, private remote schools, and tutors. You can also find lists for science experiments and materials, math manipulatives, and drawing supplies. This is our list that moves beyond what you may find in a typical school or classroom and what we have found to be interesting, fun, and effective.

Destination Imagination is an amazing program that asks teams to solve challenging problems in unique and fun ways. Unfortunately, schools are rarely able to field enough teams for all the kids interested. And too many kids don't know enough about it to know they would be interested. Rather than let either of these issues hold us back, we bring the challenges into our classrooms as part of our Enrichments. The materials are generally easy to find around the house and the instructions make them easy to share. Give it a try next time you need a fun activity!
